Canele Made Today




I used the recipe from Zucc and Chocolate and then read through the exhaustive thread at egullet where Paula Wolfert herself makes several comments. I ended up with these. They are beautiful looking but not quite right. Still I was pleased. it was my first try and I am no baker. I did use the beeswax*/butter technique in a convection oven.


*organic, food grade beeswax
