Spring Onions, Scapes, Goat Brie

Famous Fourth

We had a serious chow down Tuesday at The deli on 4th st. The pickles and cabbage and the gigantic bowl of chicken matzo ball were the highlights. The soup contained funky, little, garlicky kreplach. We finished this huge serving at home Wednesday.

This bowl contained close to 64 ounces of tasty

Pastrami special with Swiss.
Famous is better with corned beef than pastrami in my opinion.

Strawberry Time

We grabbed these berries at FairFood Farmstand via Cassaday Farm in NJ. These are brightly flavored, not syrupy, moderately sweet, very fruity and lightly tart. Ripe strawberries with pastry cream and a thin layer of Valhrona Guanaja!

This blogger is brilliant at searching out the best of Paris. Nothing like that other Gas Bag in Paris blog.
